Up until a week or so ago, when I activated Geofence. I would get a Arlo notification or icon that would stay active at the top of my Samsung phone, which showed or reminded me that Geofence was active. Now that notification is gone and does not stay on my phone screen. The only way I can tell that it is active is to log into the app. Anyone got any suggestions?

What does Geofence do

It allows you to set up where if you leave your home space the cameras will become armed and when you re-enter your home space, you cameras will become disarmed. At least that is the way i have mine set up.

@tirzah why would you disarm the cameras?

@goodfellowship. Disarm while I'm at home during the day. I have it set up where it is on a schedule at night and geofence during the day. So during the day while we are at home, the cameras are off until we leave, then geofence takes over and turns on the cameras. At night, it goes to a schedule and all cameras are active except the one inside. Make sense?

@tirzah I have mine set up the same way and have been having the same problem. Did you get your fixed or get an answer to you question yet?

@maugham682 no, I didn't. Right now I have to remind myself to open the app so it will go into geofence.

@tirzah Same with me. I basically leave it activated all the time now and if I am going to be home in the yard, cutting the grass or going in and out of my building I then turn it off. Pain in the butt. I hope they fix the issue soon. I have had similar problem before but usually after a week or two an update gets pushed out and it corrects it.

@maugham682 agree. I just leave mine on. Mine, for the most part thinks I am home, therefore disarmed. When 8 away and open the app, it will wake up and turn the alarm on.
