Arlo pro 3 users- how does local storage work? Would it still be free or would I have to have some sort of subscription?

If your going to pay 700$ for a camera system why try and be cheap after that just pay the 10$ a month for storage and 911 call ability

@kassa 1. Not paying 700. 2. Why pay if I can do local? Not familiar with 911 feature yet so maybe but I'd have tr o look into 3. Want to weigh options hence why I'm seeking insightful advice and opinions

Without paying you miss out on cloud storage and cloud activity zones and rich notifications. But you can access the local storage from the app if you have the Pro 3 or ultra SmartHub. The preview thumbnail only shows an arrow until you download it so it's a bit annoying to use full time but it is an option. You have to enable the function and there's a separate router port forwarding set up to do if you want to be able to access the local storage when you're not on the same wifi network as the smarthub
