Arlo Pro 3 issues with not being able to view recorded captured videos. When I had cloud storage, there were no issues what-so-ever seeing and replaying captured videos. But after adding a USB storage device to my Arlo base, I'm now having intermittent issues trying to view the recorded videos. This is with the phone and app, and I'm on the same network as my base station. Any ideas? Also, what has anyone done for trying to then access those video's remotely, and is there any documentation to follow those instructions.

Sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for the "location" of storage icon to appear when I've restarted the app

@terrie Thanksng Thx Steve, the issue I’m having is that certain videos I never seem to be able to load, as if the app is timing out. It’s hit and miss. I do wonder if it’s because I’m running the app on a pixel and a iPhone.

@rivarivage72520 haven't seen it sorry as I just use the cloud library. Maybe format your card/drive again and see if it fixes it. After downloading anything you want to keep first of course

@terrie Thanksng yep tried that. Beginning to think cloud storage is the best option even with the cost, plus then am able to take advantage of added features. Thx again Steve.

@terrie Thanksng the drive that I plugged into the base is a 120 gig drive. I wonder if it's too large, and if it's best to have one around 25 did or so.

It's almost as if the app is timing out

@rivarivage72520 IIRC the max capacity is 2TB
