Ok, let me ask this for all the wise cracks lol. Is there something that would make me Arlo cameras go black and white, at night. The reason I'm asking. During the day there ok, at night B/W. But if I move them around a bit they go color for a bit till I out them back up. Is there a thing that could be causing this. And if so, how can I change it? Have fun with this. No one at Arlo has answered this yet.

Night vision is black and white. Reason why it would go to colour every now and then is they may have been Catching a light from somewhere which switches it to colour

What @sodalite71 said. That’s with no light, pitch black

@dahl7 ok, but there is plenty. I move the camera by hand a foot. All is good but as soon as I put it in its stem (what ever) I goes B/W. just odd.

@assumed90 like @sodalite71 said mate, when you move it, it may be catching the slightest bit of light from somewhere. You’ll find even in the afternoon it may be daylight outside but your cameras have already turned to B/W, just how the work for optimal operations mate

@dahl7 thank and yes I've seen that. I was wondering if they were just worthless. But I get it now that light. Lol Were at in Australia, or you just like the slang

@assumed90 to me they are definitely worth it. I have the Arlo ultra’s and they are crystal clear, easy to use and always working. Haha and yes mate I’m in Queensland in Australia

Ok but 2 arlos are in kinda the same area, one has more view for the open area. The other is more at a closer area but, bother are pointed in the same area.

@assumed90 the cameras have more focussed area towards the Center and less to the outside. So one may be focusing more towards a light compared to off Center for the other camera?

And neither are on night vision

@assumed90 that’s how the cameras are supposed to run without light - otherwise you wouldn’t see

Ok what about the light that worked for a few hours. Then stopped, is there a reset for it or something

If you look in the original packaging, there was a cardboard set of glasses like they used to use for 3D way back when. If you can find those and wear them to view night videos, they will colorize the images.
