Anyone else have issues with the Arlo Pro 2 recording sun shadows and sun reflecting off the snow? It records all day long so the battery dies in about a week. One day we had 50 clips of just the sun. One camera is facing the south and the other is facing the East. Playing with the angles, directions, and sensitivity doesn’t help. Any ideas how to fix this? I hear it could be the firmware/software, but mine are updated.

When I had sun issues, I would run my cameras on a schedule where during the day it was on a creatively named custom mode named "Day" where the camera sensitivities were reduced and then at night the mode used is "Armed" where sensitivities are all set to 100

That is a great idea!

I tried your suggestion but could only find option for motion sensitivity and not contrast.

@tintinnabulum4403 camera brightness is an individual camera setting and can't be altered by mode

That's what I thought. Thanks for the reply.
