I have the Arlo Pro 2 with 4 cameras I want to buy a additional 2 more cameras. Will the pro 3 cameras or the Ultra cameras work with my base 2 station? How many cameras can a base have? Or is it best to buy the Pro 3 cameras with the base ?

I beleive without a subscription 5 is max. You have to reach out to netgear and provide serial number on your base to see if you can use Ultra 3 camera. Some you can and some not.

@disharmony no, the limit is not 5 with a subscription and yes all pro2 bases are not compatible with Ultra 3 but some are.

You can have more than 5 cameras on a base station as long as you have a subscription. 5 is the max for free

I have the VMb4500. So I guess not. So it will be pointless to get a Arlo pro 3 camera to stream 2k

I love the Pro 2 but wish I could see licence plates. Oh well still a solid solution for me.
