Y’all I am so overwhelmed. I just closed out January’s budget and started trying to plan our February and I feel like we have no money. My cash categories aren’t going to all be filled. I love budgeting but am just having to learn how to be comfortable in the discomfort of fixing everything. Anyone have any advice?

Keep going! We didn’t get into this situation overnight and we can’t get out of it overnight either. You are so much better off now knowing what you know about your finances than you were 6 mos ago. You can do this!

Don't stop in a couple of months you'll start to see a big difference. Stick with your budget as far as your spending. The first couple of months I was so distraught and I started in August. This is the first month of my savings well the first time in my life my savings has had over $1, 000 in it

I think of budgeting as a lifestyle change. It didn’t take me a month to get into this situation and it’s gonna take a while to get out. patience and perseverance… You got this!

Keep going! January was super rough for me. I had to take money from other envelopes, which I know is a no-no, but I didn’t have a choice. You’ll be fine. Just keep going. Even if you manage to save a dollar, it’s a win. Celebrate the small victories because that’s what makes this all bearable. Good luck and kick ass!

I started in August 2019 when I was paying overdraft fees of $400 per month. I’m now snowballing $500 towards my ULTA card! Don’t give up. This system works!

We don't have any extra cash to do any sinking funds at all, its straight up needs only in this house. Keeping moving forward!

Budgeting is a eye opener for sure ! I also can not do the sinking funds yet ! BUT we have not “”wasted”” money getting everything we wanted unless we (((really))) needed it . doing the budgeting month after month has helped tremendously!

Just keep going and you will get it worked out. Balances will lower, things will lower and money will begin to become available.
