Question

Hi TBM Fam, What are some ways you are all working to repair your credit? Does anyone have experience writing a Goodwill letter/forgiveness removal letter? I've brought my credit score up 524 to 640! I have not missed a payment in 17 months but still show I have 6 consecutive missed payments for one of my credit cards. I'm trying to purchase a car so any tips or advice helps!

I did this on a few of mine and it really helped my score-if they accept it. Some flat out don't. Mine were for one time lates. Just kindly explain why you were late and ask if theyd remove the negative marks. Be truthful & sincere. There are example letters you can find online. Try again if they dont remove the marks. It took me 6 yrs to go from upper 500s to an 814 this past June. Good luck!
