Friends- I’m having a hard time “budgeting” my time to work in my workbook to track, and plan. How long do you allow yourself and where do you fit it in? I’m a wife and mother of 3 involved kids with a full time job. I’m starting to feel defeated.  Thanks for listening!

I do mine every night for a few minutes after my kids go to bed. Usually only takes 10 minutes or so, and I never get behind that way.

I do mine once a week. And the budget paycheck portion I only do that before pay day

I take a couple of minutes every day or two to check off what's cleared my bank. Maybe once a week I'll do a quick reconciliation against my paycheck tracker: look at my available bank balance and subtract whatever is outstanding on my tracker to verify that I haven't forgotten to record a payment, or that I don't need to transfer any funds to cover something. I'm on salary, so my pay amount from my primary job is consistent; it makes it easy for me to quickly fill out the upcoming payday by listing payments from my annual bill tracker - like less than 20 minutes.

I’m horrible at math so I set aside an hour each week.
