I called direct tv last week because my bill went up. Not only did they give me $15 off a month for the next year but they came out and upgraded all the boxes in the house for free. Definitely call!

Question on how or where do you keep your big cash ( sinking founds ) I use Wells Fargo ( Not my favorite but is what we use) So right now what I have been doing is getting all the sinking found cash and put it in my envelopes and then in a small safe.

Question about doing own taxes - my husband and I usually pay a tax professional to do our taxes , the guy we use is familiar with doing taxes for law enforcement so before the reform he helped us with the deductions we could get , but now since you can’t do as much of that I’m considering saving the expense and doing it ourselves .
