Currently trying to buy a house and for the longest time I didn't have a credit card yay me but here's the problem now, my credit score is crap because I don't have a long credit history. Mortgage lender recommended that I get added as an authorized user to a credit card that has great credit history no late payments, low to zero balance, open for 7-10 years if not longer, and of course I don't know any one that has that hence why I never got a credit card before. Any suggestions as what I could possibly do in this situation? I need to buy this house for my family has a place to live.
