I really want to purchase the budget workbook, but the bound version is currently unavailable. I guess I could just purchase the printable and have it bound or put it in a binder. Will those of you who have purchased the printable provide some feedback about how you are using yours and if you like it, or if I should just wait a couple of months for the bound version? Thank you in advance for your input!

I did not buy the bound because the amount of pay days per month varies. I also don't use all of the pages. I print what I need and leave the rest. Plus I can use it year after year.

LOVE my printable version. I can remove the pages I don’t need. I’m also making a digital planner using the PDF pages.

I also put it in a tul/happy planner/disc bound notebook system because I have a punch for it.

I prefer the digital version. There’s way too many pages in it that I don’t need. I like that I can just print how many I need. And if I totally screw up, I can just reprint one page. And it’s not dated so you only have to buy it once.

I bought the printable. You can print as you need, put in a 3 ring binder and you don’t have to purchase a new one each year!

I have mine in a binder with all the visual and debt free charts. The budget by paycheck page and the envelope breakdown page is in my happy planner. I have a happy planner hole puncher & I put those two pages in my planner every week (we get paid weekly) so I don’t have to carry both my planner & my budget binder around. I saw someone on here repurpose their happy planner from a past year & put in the work book there. I’m thinking about doing that next year. I really like the printable version because you might find that not all pages work for you & you can pick & choose which ones you want & reprint if you need more.

I like the printable. I print 4 months at a time and put it in a 3 ring binder. I also can omit the sheets I don’t want or won’t use so it’s not as thick.

100% get the printable. There are a bunch of pages I don’t use and some (expense tracker for example) that I need more of. You can print off as many or as few as you want

You can print a very beautiful color version at cheapercopies. com for under 30 dollars then get it bound at staples or Office Depot for under 6 bucks
by (360 points)
@gospel there’s always next year  lol! For the 30 bucks you also get a little better paper (thicker) and they’re so fast! Happy budgeting

I have the bound one and I’m considering putting it in a binder so I don’t have the binding in my way trying to write on the edges!

I have the printable. I like it because if I mess something up, I can reprint the page. Also, I like printing a month at a time. I have it in a 3 ring binder with tabs and can sort the papers out how I want and can add more if needed.

@hessite3 Hoyle Dawson same! I have to rewrite stuff all the time so I reprint a page

Why get it at all? I’m not sure it’s even needed. I bought a dot empty planner and made two grafts per month and decorate it with stickers. Works great.

I’m sure it works the same. But I use a pen and a notebook with lined pages. Works the same

I LOVE the printable version. I can print out as many copies as I want. I don’t have to stress about messing up. I can rearrange the pages, and also add in other pages. For each week I added in a weekly meal planner page, a shopping list, and a weekly family meeting page. It helps with budgeting. I really enjoy being able to make it mine. I have it in a 3 ring binder, and use numbered dividers for the month.

I use the printable. skip the pages I don’t use and put the others in a binder. I can also print more expense tracking pages as needed. I’m doing quarterly tracking so that it’s easier to carry with me.

I've had the printable a couple of months and I love it. I punched the pages with a Happy Planner punch and discs. I can reprint things and move things around. It's working for me. I did not want to wait and I'm glad I didn't.

I put it in a binder. Love it as I can add other pages and move pages around to what makes sense for me. Also, I don't need l the pages for each month so print what I need.

I’m not using mine. It was too overwhelming for me. I only used January. If you would like mine I will sell it to you. I did unbind it & put it in a 3 ring binder.

Honestly, I bought the bound version and wish I had just bought the printable. You buy it once and can use it forever and when you mess up or if you need extra pages, you can really customize it for your needs.

@paraboloid2 wish I’d done that.

When i first started, I bought the printable version and would print out like three months at a time and have them in a binder. I like the printable version because I can print out only the pages that I needed.

@yukikoyukio @nurse Silva this is what I did! Since I just started in Feb, it was so convenient to reprint pages if I messed up too much on them!
