Some Tuesday motivation for anyone whose partner is not on the budget train yet: I started this journey last year but got REALLY into it in December & January. I printed out what I needed from TBM and made my own binder and have been carrying it around with me almost everyday . After working on my own budget I began to notice that my boyfriend was not the greatest with his money, but who am I to tell him how to spend his hard earned money? Then a few days ago. he asked me to help him with making a budget! I was surprised because I had never brought up him making one (but had obviously thought about it). This past weekend we sat down and wrote out his budget and needless to say. he was shocked. He even told me yesterday that now he “can’t stop thinking about the numbers” and how he can pay off his debt more quickly so he can save more! I am one proud girlfriend! If your partner is not on board yet. just be patient, do your own thing, and let them come to it on their own terms ❤️
