Those with Costco Memberships, which is the best option? Is the cash back worth it? Or should I just go with the simple. I was thinking of adding my mother in there as well. I have been going with my neighbor and love it over Sam's. I definitely need to go at least every 2 weeks to stock up on items for my girls lunches and a few items in the house.

Personally, I have stuck with the basic membership. I can appreciate if you spend a lot over the course of a year, it can be worth it to get a little back, but I don't know for sure if it's worth it for our family of 3. Maybe next year with a baby coming next month! I will have to reevaluate then.

I believe they refund it if you don’t go over the amount needed to start earning cash back.

We got $200 back, so we paid for our membership. Family of five here.

It’s worth it to us, it has paid for our membership every year and some extra.

You’ll need to spend $3000 in a year to get $60. 00 cash back, anything more is in your pocket.

Cash back split membership with another family. My BFF and I share an account. Since it’s two families of 5 we always get back enough to pay for the membership and this year we each got $70 cash back

I think it’s worth it if you shop there regularly.

Depends how often you shop there. I have the cash back card and use the check for membership fees

We can’t live without Costco! Very little choice up here in the Sierras, so it’s worth the one hour trip. We always get back more than the membership cost.
