We use the counting coin jar that Miko uses and my husband and I have decided that at the end of the year whatever we collect in change through the year we are going to split in half and use this money to spend on each other for Christmas- we used to not buy things for each other at Christmas because we didn’t budget correctly before discovering the budget mom (all of our Christmas was typically funded by credit cards for our kids but keeping a limit in mind) so this works for us- we now have a sinking fund for Christmas spending but will use our change to purchase for each other! I’m so excited to see what we have at the end of the year- once this jar is full we will continue to save but transfer it to a larger jug

I have an old pickle jar I’m using as change jar. My bank has a savings account the rounds up your purchase to the nearest amount you set it at and any purchase that extra amount that wasn’t spent goes into a savings account. It’s like a savings account change jar lol. I’m seriously thinking about opening one.

I got one of the change counters that Miko has. My husband has always been a good change saver and he used to put it in a big plastic Texas A&M cup in his car.

I keep it in my envelope when I first receive it and then keep my change in a mason jar once I empty it out of the envelope.

Mason Jar. I cash it in to the bank every couple months when it's full. We may go out to dinner, buy something extra or go on a road trip for the day and use it as extra gas $$ and treats! Basically it's our wild money. All $50 (ish) of it!

Take it to a Coinstar machine (not at Walmart) and get an Amazon gift card. Use it to buy something we need from Amazon.

In a big jar. We just rolled about $140 worth that we took as extra spending money to Disneyland. We usually save it for extra vacation savings. Now saving for Hawaii next year!

I set it aside in a jar and round up on my cash envelope. So if I pay $2. 60 for something, I say I paid $3 and put the $0. 40 in my change jar
