oh no! Hopefully everything sorted itself out. My husband was paid weekly. Like that for 15+ years. Started a new job and it went to biweekly. It took some time to adjust

I usually shop on Friday which is payday. I only shop for one week at a time and split my cash so I don’t have the tendency to spend it all the first week.

I order mine on payday bc I follow The Budget Mom and practice the budget by paycheck method that she demonstrates. It’s all just like DR but the paycheck budgeting really works for me.

I personally go on Saturday. I’m really busy during the week so I like to at least have a stocked house. I try not to spend anything on Friday (my payday) because I feel like it’s a downward spiral to going over my budget. I also go weekly.

Produce doesn't last much longer than a week here. And we go through about 3-4 gallons of milk a week. I can't store more than that. So we do weekly. Meal plan on Friday, shop Saturday when we are out and about and prep on Sunday.

I shop weekly on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. I budget for two weeks per paycheck. Thankfully now that I have a cushion I can usually do my Thursday afternoon store before we get paid on Friday.

I go bi-weekly on my payday. Because I don’t work Fridays I go earlier in the day so it’s not as busy. I may still have to go to the grocery store that’s 2 minutes from our house 1-2x if I forgot to buy something but mostly I stock up enough for 2 weeks. I always go to Costco which helps keep our fridge/freezer stocked for awhile!

I go every Saturday morning around 7:00am (I like the lack of people in the grocery store that early in the morning). I meal plan Friday’s and make a shopping list. I don’t overspend and I don’t waste as much by buying every week!

forms the sounds of it I wish we had an Aldi. I’m in Canada and the groceries here are not cheap. It’s anticipated that groceries are expected to cost the average Canadian family an additional $600+ this year

I place our Walmart delivery Sunday evening for Monday morning. We shop weekly. Doing it early allows me to fix any mistakes or grab things we forgot. Sometimes with delivery or pick up there are outages or dumb substitutions. So I can easily swing by a grocery store on my way home from a weekly appointment i have every Monday.

We get paid every other Friday. I submit my walmart grocery order on Friday morning so that I can get it on my way home from work. I meal plan for two weeks at a time, and only pick up a few things (bread, milk, lunchmeat. ) on the off week.

So if you check your favorite stores, they will tell you when certain items go on sale. So meat maybe Tuesday and milk maybe Monday. etc. I go on those days and buy that product, and anything else that I need. I sometimes split my list of other items in half, or I may just buy it all on that day.

I have found the best day for groceries for me is any day other than Sunday. Everything is always picked over on sundays and then I'm more apt to make more trips to go back for things I need. We get paid every other Friday so I budget what I need per week and shop once a week.

Living in a rural area, I have started ordering online and picking up groceries when I’m in the next larger town 60 miles away. It saves me time and money, I only big shop once a month and plan meats and such for the month. If I need perishables I go to a local store or farmers market in my town.

I go once a week whenever my daughter is in preschool or home with my husband. Much easier that way lol. Once a week is good for us so we don’t waste food/risk it going bad. I do pull 2 weeks worth of cash every payday.
