We are currently in San Antonio. Originally from KY, so to us it doesn't really get cold here, but blazing hot in the summer. So our AC is running way more than heat. Our electric runs $197/month on budget billing. Water is approximately $85/month. Internet is $75/month. 3brm 2ba 1800 sqft house, family of 3.

@cassidycassie yes, the weather is going to be a big adjustment for us.

@cassidycassie that is exactly what we are looking for . a 3 bedroom home, so that gives me an idea of the cost. Thanks

That's all over the city. Let's start with where are you or spouse going to be working? Then spiral out from there. Do you have a budget for rent that you would like to stay in?

@tropaeolin yep  we have a long list of cities LOL. My husband works from home and I am a Yoga Instructor so I plan to teach once we settle. Our rent budget is $1300- $1600 max. My husband will have to travel to Laredo TX once every 2 weeks. I’ve been told that North of SA is a good place to live.

Any kiddos?

@whorl in the north you'll be at the top of your price range. 78247, 78233, 78217 are nice and affordable. If it looks too good to be true, pass it up. I'm living in near Converse area, lots of new home builds and can use as an investment. Despite the housing crisis in 2008, San Antonio has been steadily rising. I think some it's mainly going to be you two, what are you looking for in a home. DM me with pictures about locations or houses and I'll tell you what I know. I'm not a realtor BTW, I just love house shopping.

Shop Promos from AT&T and Spectrum. I didnt like spectrum as Time Warner Cable and I still dont like them now. Car insurance can be as low as $700 and up to 1400/6 months and 2 cars.
