Any dance moms have a cheaper solution than a Rac n Roll? Or do I bite the bullet and pay the price?

We do Dream Duffel (medium) but have already outgrown it with 6 dances for a tiny 8 year old. I found it on Marketplace "like new" and paid 1/2 the price so I am making it work as long as I can! It would help if I didn't pack an entire closet and bathroom for every comp.

@judson That is why we broke down and bought it last year! It is totally good for the costumes alone but when I add makeup case and bunch of other stuff for awards, etc. it seems small. You can watch for the seconds sale on Wednesdays (May be every other, not sure) but I will say the R and R seems lighter! Our last comp had dressing rooms 3 flights down in a no elevator theater so it got heavy lugging the DD!

I just do a normal rack off amazon. Actually, my mom bought us one, but it’s waaaay to big. Takes up too much room in their small changing rooms. So I’m getting a smaller one for less the. $40.

We have a dream duffel, not sure if it’s any cheaper, but it has been worth it! We’re in year 6!

We had a Dream Duffel for my daughter when she danced. It was pricey but sooooo worth it. She was in competitive dance and we got more than our money's worth out of it. It was so nice to have everything contained to one bag, anywhere we went. We used it for her senior pictures and it worked GREAT, too!

There is a DIY one you can UTube. It's easy to make and very affordable. You can also try to get one second hand. Dancers who have graduated pass them down.

We used a modest size rack from bed bath and beyond. Once you set up the rack, it defines and sets up space for your other bag or bags underneath while not taking up quite so much room. My daughter is a minimalist, though.

We have a medium Dream Duffel. I bought it from the Dream Duffel website. It was a second hand that I bought from the company. I have used the heck out of it. It is not usable for another child after 9 years. I am certain there is a Facebook group of parents selling their dance bags for a reasonable price.
