Is there a way to do Disney cheaper without making things complicated? Like opening up another credit card to earn points? Or buying Disney gift cards?

Staying at a hotel off site. Hotels in the surrounding area usually have shuttles to the parks.

@despond also, if you’re trying to go to Disney world and don’t mind driving to the parks, search for hotels in Kissimmee. It’s right next to the parks but way cheaper since it isn’t “technically” orlando

Look at giftcarddeal. com or on Facebook. I was able to buy $500 Disney gift cards for $447.

With a target red card, disney gift cards are 5% off. But honestly, no, Disney is expensive.

You can, but I do think it complicates things for sure. Saving on Disney is very doable, but you have to work at it. Target has some good deals. Kroger will give you 4x fuel points sometimes. Sams club and Costco sell discounted cards.

We took our kids a few years ago and they had a promotion going for new Disney card holders where if you spent $1500 within the first three months you got a $500 statement credit so we signed up and used that. You get rewards on it so I turn my rewards into cash on a Disney gift card which my husband and I will use for our food when we go in May. So far i have close to $200 on it. I’ve been using it for groceries and gas because that’s what gives you the most back

Your best bet is to be flexible on travel times and watch for the deals they offer occasionally. It's never not expensive though.

If your a Costco member I’d suggest Costco travel. Disney can be expensive but if your willing to spend the time to look and some trouble then you can save. Also you can check getawaytoday. com they and e some good deals as well. Saving and being patient is the best way to go.

We had all our family members give our kids Disney gift cards. We got about $600 in gift cards for birthdays and holidays. We put $2k in a account for our trip. Went grocery shopping and packed our lunches and our snacks. Had one night out to eat which cost us $220.

Stay offsite for cheaper prices, consider a condo where you can cook some of your own meals. Split meals at restaurants.
