I love the fact that my work has a Keurig, as I do love to make tea every morning as soon as I get there (I quit drinking coffee almost three years ago). I am thinking to buy a Keurig and a reusable cup to put a tea bag in when I move to an apartment. I keep seeing posts about the Nespresso, and I wonder if that is cheaper than Keurig/can it make tea with a reusable cup?

Are you talking about tea pods or putting loose leaf in a reusable pod?

Betty, I know. It confused me. I never put a tea bag in a Keurig.

I have been seeing keurigs at the thrift stores recently. Shop your thrifts before you spend too much $$ on something. Also if you can wait til Black Friday you can probably get a good deal. I am old fashioned and Just make tea in the microwave.

Keurig is definitely cheaper than a nespresso but, an electric tea kettle is way cheaper and takes just as much time. I have one with a auto on and fill it every night so it is ready in the morning for my to go cup.

Nespresso only uses Nespresso pods. There’s no reusable cup option. It’s more pricy than Keurig. I used to have a Keurig and now I have a Nespresso, but it’s definitely not for the cost, it’s for the quality and taste. But my reason is if I have an easier way to make delicious coffee and lattes at home, I have no excuse to go to Starbucks.

Don't buy a Keurig just to get hot water. A tea kettle is much cheaper. I use a small coffee maker $8 from Walmart.
