A fave of ours is sloppy joe casserole. 1 lb of ground beef cooked with can of manwich and bell peppers. Then bake with prepared jiffy cornbread mix on top. Sprinkle with a little bit of cheese and sour cream if you like but just as good without also!

Eggs (served so many ways so not too monotonous). We'll also do some meatless dishes a few times of week and that cuts down the grocery bill a bit.

You can get giant bag of rice for like 5$ maybe less depending on brand? Can of Black beans less than a dollar, you can add shredded cheese and salsa which at target the salsa is like 1. 50 and cheese 2$ so you can make you own lesser version of a chipotle bowl lol

Chicken fried rice, stuffed meatloaf (think sautéed diced potatoes and garlic mixed in), soup, cheesy chicken rice casserole, grilled cheese, breakfast for dinner (homemade pancakes & eggs), biscuits and gravy, my family’s version of pasta fazool (however you spell it) - which is any pasta or egg noodle with a can of baked beans (those grillin beans are good) mixed in and cooked ground beef if you have it or meatless if you don’t. *I promise I’m not hungry, I just ate hahaha.

Husband says - loaf of bread, milk, eggs, half pound of sliced American. You have grilled cheese, French toast, eggs, egg salad, birds nest (bread with a hole in the middle filled with a fried egg), breakfast casserole (like a savory chopped French toast casserole with cheese). And since you have milk - you can also grab a cheap bag/box of cereal for one night of cereal for dinner - or breakfasts/snack. **Also, might want to check the sales at your local grocery store and compare those ingredients to things people are suggesting here to stretch your buck even further.
