This post isn't directly budget related but it definitely affects my budget. But please delete if not allowed. I work as a nurse practitioner and have been unhappy with my job site for quite a while now. I have a job interview next week for a position that is a 45-60 minute commute for me but would allow me a very large salary increase. Currently, I don't really commute at all. I live in a small town and drive maybe 15 minutes to get to work because its across town. This new job would be the next town over. I'm sure some people will say the extra commute time isn't much but it would be so different for me. Do you all think its worth it to do so if I'm unhappy with my current employer and can also get a big increase in salary by switching jobs? Anyone facing a decision like this right now? Thanks! :)
