Can my fiance claim my kids as dependents? Not child tax credits, just dependents. Their father can't claim them and I am a stay at home mom. Thanks

He can claim you as a dependent and them as child tax credits. If he supports them and you.

@mitra before we got married my husband was able to claim me as a dependent and our son as a tax credit, without any penalty, it worked out since I made no money or less than 3k!

If he’s financially responsible for them, I would say yes!

Yes if y’all are living together you will need to sign a form. When we were deployed our brother and sister in law claimed our son since they had him that year with our permission

As long as he can prove that he has supported them for more than 50% of the year

I would consult a tax professional to be 100% certain.
