ETA: we have a reusable k-cup, we just hate our Keurig. What’s your favorite budget-friendly coffee maker? We currently have a Kurig and hate it! Looking for something that doesn’t break the bank, and if it takes any kind of “pods”, ones that I can get generic and cheaper but also need to be able to use our own coffee in it! I have heard good stuff about the Nespresso, but the pods were expensive. Can you use your own coffee in them? I’m not coffee-savy but we do drink it a lot!

Hamilton Flex Brew does a carafe and single cups. It can do k-cups or regular coffee. It is programmable and it has a setting for bold or regular flavor.

I love the ninja coffee bar. A little pricey up front but so many options.

My dad has a nespresso and the coffee is so delicious out of it. I love having coffee at their house. But I have a ninja coffee bar and I really love it. It’s not pods I just put ground coffee in it. Can make a lot of coffee or a cup. Strong or regular brew too. Or even for iced or blended. I have a small place to so it’s nice doesn’t take up to much space on my counter too

I bought a Mr. coffee 12 cup pot for $20 at Walmart. Has the timer so it's made fresh for me 3 mins before I hop out of bed. I love it.

You can “unlock” the kurig and it will show the whole menu. I did this and it’s not difficult at all.

Not super budget friendly depending in budget, but the ninja coffee maker. It does lattes, iced coffees, specialty coffees, single cups large cups half pots and full pots etc. I absolutely love mine. I used to use Keurig. I had 2 break down within 6 months of each other

I have a nespresso machine that has a milk frothing wand as it heats better than the canisters and Keurig with the reusable pods. I grind my own coffee for the Keurig and buy pods but I don’t buy them often so I’m ok with spending the money and I like that they recycle. To me if it meant not spending money out for coffee I was ok with buying the pods and investing in a good machine.

French press your coffee! French press is like $25. I grind my beans fresh and press them and coffee tastes a million times better than any machine.

There is a pod you can use your own coffee in the Nespresso. We have a Hamilton Beach pot and single combo. We love it.

I don't drink coffee, but I got my husband a Keurig for his birthday. He threw it out after 6 months and bought a Me. Coffee drip coffee maker with a pot.

Personally I love coffee from a coffee press! I think it tastes so much better and you can use whatever coffee you prefer. I also have a Moka coffee maker for home made espresso. I make lattes at home with the Moka and a Starbucks milk frother/heater that I’ve had for years.

I drink instant coffee through a subscription box online! They have different blends, teas and cocoa. No keurig required!

I use the cuisinart 2 n 1. I love it. I had the Hamilton flex brew and the Keurig thing on it worked wonky. But the cuisinart has done so well. It came with a filter so I can use my own coffee in it but I use the coffee pot side every morning because I like the smell and the quick refill. I keep pods on hand for company.

I love mine on different occasions when I need a special cup but also have a 10 cupper. I don’t spend mega $$$ on the Cups from the money grabbers. I have a reusable cup gadget and use whatever coffee or cappuccino mix I have ! So no waste of plastic containers

Initially a little expensive but you can get a refurb one. It is like having a starbucks in your house. It does a lot of different types plus tea. But you can make a small cup to a whole pot of coffee.

We have used a French press and a stovetop espresso maker. I recently got a Nespresso and I love it ‍♀️ I got it from FB Marketplace so I didn't pay full price. You can't use reusable pods in it bc it reads the barcode on the bottom to know what kind of coffee/how much to brew.

I use a Bunn. My coffee is ready in less than 3 minutes. I love it! Runs about $100 at Walmart.

We have a Hamilton Beach with two sides - one has the big carafe with a reusable filter. The other side does single cups - add your own ground coffee or use a k-cup thing. It was like $85

If you drink coffee all day get one with a stainless steel pot. If not get anything that is for you favorite pot size. I have a timer that is separate from the unit so it is ready when we get up. No waiting.

My camera is horrible right now but it’s a cuisinart - it takes whole beans and grinds then or you can use stuff already ground. Makes 1-12 cups. I drink a pot a day to myself so I can’t afford to buy pods lol I like that the carafe keeps my coffee hot for hours
