Anxiety through the roof. For sale sign went up in my yard today for my house.Anxiety through the roof. For sale sign went up in my yard today for my house. I’m recently divorced and single mom of 3. I know this is something I need to do to pay off debt and to downsize and save on rent/mortgage but hard to part with. Has anyone else been in this boat?

Stay strong, I have been through this also and I know it can be so overwhelming! Try and keep focused on the ultimate goal, but be kind and patient with yourself! It won't be easy, but you will come out stronger, smarter, and happier! Good luck!

I'm in your shoes right now. I just finished my budget and putting together my envelopes. I know I need a second job and am working on that. Its overwhelming as hell, but I take it one day at a time. Everytime I stumble or have a bad day, I remind myself it's ok. If you need someone you can always reach out!

Yes, I’ve been there. It’s humbling, but extremely rewarding to build a new life for you and your kids. One day at a time, you got this.

Yes. I really wanted to stay in my house, but knew my monthly budget was too tight to allow for it. Still sad I had to move my kids out of the only house they had ever known and now into to 2 strange houses. ☹️

It’s been a whirlwind of emotions as these calls for people to come see the house have been pouring in. I keep wanting to call Dave Ramsey and ask him if I’m doing the right thing but I know what he’ll say. I can’t invest my emotions into this. It has to be a temporary move in order to go forward and become debt free

remember, anywhere your kids are with you is HOME! I was in a small, 2 bedroom flat with 3 girls. Now that they are all grown, when they reminisce about "happy times" 90% of it is memories from that little flat! ❤

I had three weeks to get a new place and move. While my marriage blew up and what I thought my future looked like imploded. I’ve been there. Plus I went from 1800sq feet and 2 acres to 800sq feet with no yard. And life is much better now.

I am anxiously waiting to sell this house(our matrimonial house) that is soley in his name, so that I can own something that is just mine. We moved my Dad in right after we bought it so he will of course move with me and my 13 yr old son.

Once the house was sold there was actually a huge relief and somehow it gave me the courage to move forward.
