It depends on the category. If it's like groceries - I would try really to shop from what I have at home at limit trips to the grocery store. The great thing about budgeting is you can just reset at any point. Learn from your mistake and make note of it, and try to avoid it happening again :)

I figure out exactly how much is left and divide it by how many days it has to last. Then, I work hard to stay within budget every day. On days you stay under budget, you’ll have a little more to work with the rest of the time.

Hello i have a couple of questions.i have finnally pulled out my budget crush workbook.and my first question is when adding up the pay checks for the month do you only add what the check actually is (example gross pay 1074.50 but my check amont ends up being 685.21)which leads to my second question....
