I've been deep cleaning the house & of course listing everything for sale everywhere I can (offer up, mercari, poshmark, etc). Question is for items sold on fb how do you get the cheapest shipping? Sold a jacket for a lady who asked me to ship and ended up only making fifty cents because of shipping costs.

Charge them an addition fee for shipping. I will only sell local and they have to come to me. I won’t ship or deliver

Take the item to the post office after asking what there zip code is to get the correct amount of shipping.

@actino that's a good idea. Just started this wkn and both orders paid promptly and asked me to ship right away so I didn't even think about having them wait on exact shipping costs

Pirate ship is what I use when I dont have a PayPal invoice

I use a cheap kitchen scale to get the weight of the package so I know how much to charge. ☺️

I use Pirateship and the buyer pays shipping. I ship a lot for work and anytime I have to use USPS pirateship is the best price sometimes even cheaper than through PayPal. Also flat rate boxes or envelopes for heavy items, regional boxes for mid weight items, first class for small, light items.

Always charge shipping. That’s a convenience you’re providing.

Shipping is additional and I ship through PayPal as a cheaper option, anything below 16oz is less than $5 to ship. For anything heavier flat rate is the way to go.
