Just signed our boys up for the LattofYMCA summer camp, who the heck on here said it was cheaper than the Park Districts Camps? Wrong hahahaha but I will say the payment system is way more manageable than the all upfront for the Park District Camps. All I gotta say is these kids better appreciate their summer

@chevaldefrise my husband has a spreadsheet too, he was comparing from last year we had the boys on camp opeka and the other in camp discovery. What we didn’t like is the 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after they were at arndt park and leisure center. It was all over the place but def cheaper lol

Exactly same issue. My son wants the Y this year but I may just do Y for those weird weeks. I’ve even looked into other summer camps like Banner, Apachi in Northbrook (borders Des Plaines and Glenview) so expensive like 5, 000. 00

It might not be cheaper but it offers before and after care hours for no charge. In addition you get 10% discount on all sessions if you sign up by 4/18.

The park district used to have a payment plan. Did they stop doing that?
by (28.3k points)
@pituri you cant do payment plan online you have to physically go to Leisure Center or Prairie Lakes and register that way for payment plan.
