Weird question-- but has anyone had issues with eye twitches postpartum? I developed a pretty bad twitch around 8-9 months with my daughter that I assumed was from extreme sleep deprivation and PPD but I'm now getting one 8 months after having my son (much milder so far. No PPD and not getting a lot of sleep but getting more than with my daughter). I googled it but didnt find anything. Is this a thing or is it just me?

Yes your electrolytes are off- Sodium, calcium, potassium, chloride, phosphate, and magnesium. Its a signal from your body telling you. Celery juice is a natural "gatorade", highly recommend drinking some first thing in the morning on an empty stomach about 8-10oz. Works wonders. It also will helps with the balance of low oxytocin levels that is the main cause of postpartum depression. Alot of things going on in the body that you cant see, it's really getting to know whats going on inside, especially after having built a human and all the things you can do to help the cells carry on the work to heal all the organs, brain back to normal again :).

Yup stress and sleep deprivation. Take a nap instead of watching that show or doing the laundry. Take care of you momma.

I always get it from sleep deprivation. It is definitely my body saying GO TO Bed. Lol. Easier said then done with kids.

I've had them both pre- and post- baby - it has to do with stress for me.

Yes! I got them postpartum. Due to sleep deprivation and stress. It went away on its own. It’s way too easy to say relax and hard to accomplish. But take a some time to enjoy something for yourself. For me it was a cup of coffee in the morning. Little things can sum up to make a difference.

I've had them off and on. Usually can tie them to times of stress, particularly at work.

I get them sometimes. Stress-caffeine- digital eye strain are the top 3 triggers
