How do you get a 2-yr-old to actually stop when you yell “no! ”? Today mine was biting an electrical cord and I screamed and ran toward him then slipped and broke my toenail half off. But he didn’t stop until I got hurt. I’m freaked that he could have actually died if his teeth cut through.

Play the red light green light game! It really works my 2 year old stops on a dime now when I say RED LIGHT!

Praise the Lord your baby is okay, but I used to clap really loudly if I wasn't right next to them and make them at least turn and look at me with that loud noise!

I used the word 'Danger! ' really loudly. We only used it for when they could get hurt doing something.
