Alright completely weird experience just now. I was leaving my house this car pulled down the street, I live on a dead end, he turned in the culdesac stuck his phone out of his window of all tinted windows and took a picture or video of me or my house and as I backed out he took off like a bat out of hell and so of course I did too his car wasn’t marked all tags taken off but it’s a Kia Sorento. I took a picture of the car and his plates before pulling out onto Rand but I am creeped out! My husband thinks should I call the police but I can’t like warrant a reason why like oh hello officer this man I couldn’t see took a pic or video of me and took off. like idk. So weird! What would you do? Thankfully my daughter wasn’t with me but so strange. Could I just report suspicious activity?

By any chance did you recently move? We had someone doing that, and we literally walked right in front of his car asking why. He was from our realtor site, taking pictures of the house to see if it looked like it was increasing or decreasing in value. (They keep track of that stuff for us. ) We did check with them and they verified it. Hopefully it is something simple like that. (Although why you can't knock and simply ask permission first is beyond me. )

Oi. Then that is weird and unsettling. File a report.

People call in far worse! Doesn’t hurt to report. You never know! They can run the plates at the very least

Could be a home/tax assessor, that happened to us.

Yes I'd call either way. No harm in it at all. Especially if he took off like that. The car didn't have any plates on it?

@infeudation plates have to be tied to an address right? It's a start!
by (10.8k points)
Well I wouldn't expect them to give you their address because of privacy laws, but it's frustrating that the police wouldn't go check into the situation. That is  an unusual situation.

@infeudation that isn't right when it comes to safety and well-being of the community. Especially families with children.
