I feel like I will probably regret asking, but does anyone have some ad examples for vaginal dryness? I have a client that advertises clinical trials, and I am at a loss for wording that may get approved. I've run rejuvenation before, but that is easier to be generalized.

Do a quick search here on FB and you'll see Pages / videos. Then run to their Ad Library and scope it out. I just verified and am now bracing myself for a month of endless feminine hygiene ads. Ha.

I write ads for a feminine health brand and have to deal with this type of careful wording all the time. Never had any approval issues and it’s not generalized wording. Feel free to dm me and I can send you the ad library link - maybe it can give you ideas on how to apply it to your ads.

We run ads for a large erectile dysfunction product. Very high risk since it's "male performance", and not exactly dissimilar to this. Feel free to DM me

@jointly how you get that approved?
by (560 points)
@salmonoid if it's not BH it's because they are whitelisted.
by (1.8k points)
@digger We're not whitelisted. We have a strategy to counter disapprovals on an almost daily basis.

@jointly very interesting. Might I PM you?

Somehow use the hash tag #slipnslide and you’ll have a winner.

I have clients in clinical research and deal with this all the time. Avoid using the word “you” at all costs. If you don’t get approved, appeal and tell them that it is for clinical research. They usually approve your appeal because they can see that it is legit and not some sexual ad that they detected.

Take a look at this. Might give you a few unique ideas. For context, it was a commercial for a Norwegian sex shop

These kind of ads are easy to do if the client/brand is ok with cheeky humor. You have to be creative with headlines and terminology. For example, let's say you're targeting moms who are experiencing dryness. Your ad copy could look something like this: "The kids are in bed, the husband's ready to go, and it's drier than the Sahara desert down there. With XYZ product that doesn't have to be the case anymore. " That's obviously a really rough draft of an idea that could use polishing. Sustain Natural has some great ads for organic tampons, condoms, lube, etc. You should check them out.

I'd look at the toilet paper and ED ads to see how they bypass the embarassing bits.

Try something metaphorical or lack of context like, using a tip jar with the captions, “it’s okay to put the tip in” for a condom ad
