I am promoting a free course on R programming (R is a software for data analysis). The students who will enroll in this course are leads for other two paid courses (more advanced). So: Campaign goal: traffic Amount spent: $37. 40 Number of clicks: 807 (CTR=7. 9%) Number of enrollments: 3 (? ). Conversion rate: 0. 03% Cost per enrollment: $12. 46 In consequence, my ad seems to be attractive, and my audiences seem to be well chosen (I am testing two audiences btw). However the conversion rate is miserable, way under my expectations (and my expectations were not overly optimistic). Should I start thinking about changing my landing page?. Is there any more I can do about the FB campaign itself? Thank you so much.

I suggest you go with a conversion campaign objectiv , because traffic will get you people who are most likely to go to websites but not take any action like purchasing , from your ctr i can see you have a good ad with right audience , and Also try to retarget those who didnt purchase , your conversion rate should be higher on bottom of the funnel

Good point. The next step is to try to convert the leads with email campaigns, which I'm going to immediately. But the number of leads is measly so far. How many could I hope to convert. We'll see.

You got what you asked for: traffic. If you want conversions, use the conversion objective. Makes a huge difference.
