Having a daily budget of $1000. Which is a better choice: . A) $1000 for 1 adset per day B) 2 x $500 for each 2 adsets (duplicates) per day C) 4 x $250 for each 4 assets (duplicates) per day *assuming that adset is a winning adset, which of the above is a better choice and why?

Duplicates? No split testing?
by (1.3k points)
@enneahedron I don’t know if split testing is ever “done, ” but yeah, duplicate and diversify

Because you’ll have more things to compare. If the adset is good, what about the ad spots?

@enneahedron oh I’m following now. 1 adset is fine, but I wanna see 50+ ads

Break those out into TOF/MOF/BOF campaigns. Don’t just duplicate and run. $1K/Day is a good budget to work with. We are running a campaign with a similar budget right now and it’s working very well. Currently sitting at $517, 000 in revenue on $21, 000 in spend for the month

@gensmer744 mixed it up. Some objectives are just ATC but then retargeting like mad

@gensmer744 anywhere from $800-$2500. AOV comes in around $1700 when it’s all said and done every month. We are scaling them to just shy of $100K/month by the end of the year

@gensmer744 do you feel like you have a good product and a good niche?

@gensmer744 what’s your email marketing effort look like?

@thromboembolism top of funnel, middle of funnel, bottom of funnel. Basically if they are brand new to your product or store, they are “cold” so they are TOF. If they come to your website, look around, but don’t check out, they might be considered MOF here. After that, you should be dumping straight cash into retargeting to retargeting them and get them back to your store to close them on a sale (BOF is the campaign running the retargeting)

@gensmer744 ecom. But what’s your email marketing look like? Have automation?

@gensmer744 VC? What’s that?
by (890 points)
@gensmer744 just making sure you’re doing everything you can!
by (890 points)
@gensmer744 eh that’s probably higher up in your funnel. Kind of just depends how your campaigns are setup

@thromboembolism cheers!

@gensmer744 are you talking about lead-gen or e-commerce?

@gensmer744 I take it you are a proponent of starting with landing page views optimization instead of conversions(purchase specifically) on a fresh pixel ? Low ticket item with landing page btw

@gensmer744 just remember. Facebook is going to try to optimize for your conversion. So if your conversion objective is views, they are going to get you views. But they might get you a ton of views with minimal buying interest. That’s when you probably have to hope your retargeting slowly pulls them in. What you want is people that are looking to buy or have buying habits via Facebook. Are you using CBO?
