Anybody know how to turn OFF Special Ads Category that was accidentally switched on? I tried duplicating the campaign and everything. Can't get it to switch off. Asking for a friend.

It’s at the campaign level right? So try duplicating your ad sets into a new campaign

Omg. thank you! My brain could not think of that today. It was my best performing campaign which sucks, but at least I don't have to re-create from scratch right now.

Lol. No problem. We all have brain dumps every now and then when it comes to FB.

I meant to switch on CBO and published it. That's pretty lame that you can't switch it back - at least I don't know of a way.

you can edit the campaign and switch to CBO anytime as far as I know. I just switched a non-CBO to CBO this morning. From the main campaign level view, just hit edit under the campaign name and you can edit the campaign level setting for CBO. Sorry if I misunderstood your statement.

Was there actually any impact by turning it ON? I’m curious to know how that works.

yes it extremely limits the targeting that you do. You can't filter by age, gender, interests, etc, etc. Has to be very broad targeting.

Good day all! A client of mine wants to run a Covid-19 special for her cleaning business (I know, sounds weird but it's been working for her on other mediums) I'm worried Facebook will shut her sh*t down faster than she can even blink if we use the words covid-19 in her ads.
