Admin Request: This group has become extremely oversaturated with what I like to call "Screenshot Case Studies". I'm sure everyone who is active on this group is familiar with what I'm referring to. "HOW TO SCALE FROM $5 to $7M" accompanied by a screenshot of ads manager showing really no context for the numbers posted. 9 times out of 10, these posts most likely are made in bad faith and are fudging numbers mostly to try and gain new business. I'm not saying these types of posts are not helpful, as they share potential strategies with newbies and the community as a whole. However, I think there does need to be some sort of approval process implemented to maintain the integrity of this group. Potentially something along the lines of having users who want to submit these types of posts have their case studies and numbers verified and approved by the admins in some way. Thoughts on this?

I agree it’s just hard to implement. We have a team meeting tomorrow morning. Will discuss this with the team If you have any suggestions on implementation or vetting process lmk

@absently4 I think if you made them have to be videos it would massively cut down on the clearly BS ones. Way harder to fake and edit video (or at least hard enough most fakers won't do it).

@absently4 I think they should also share campaign names, and also certain metrics, since we all want to learn.

Or Live Streaming Only, By Admin Request.

Not sure how it would be at scale, but maybe a keyword or phrase flag could be tested.

@absently4 I think these case study style posts should be banned if they don’t share useful step-by-step information. All too often members would post such information as a form of gloating and include no useful info for others to learn from.

@tania5546 brilliant idea.

I actually left for a while over too much spam. It seems better now though, so I know you are working on it. I wouldn’t mod without something back, I’m sure plenty will do it for free.

We implemented it today officially! just gonna have mods vet it first!

100% agree with this. Can we have posts approved please?

@crossley Okay pay the salary of the employees then

@booklet is that the solution? If everything was so easy man.

@booklet be nice. We mod this group very well. Lots of stuff gets reported and is taken care of, in many cases, within 30 seconds of being reported.

I'm rather new to this group, but I'm a member of a few other groups which are not worth following any more. I totally support every word of this post! Please let's keep this group clean and valuable.

I would welcome some moderation of the posts. I'm a mod one couple of groups, one with 50k members. It doesn't take too much time when there's a few of you
by (3.1k points)
@jello4794 it does when there are over 100k people.
by (6.6k points)
@lassie Pro Tip: you have twice as many mods as for a 50k group. We have 8 mods and 4 admin.

@jello4794 oh I know. I do community management for a living.

I scroll past them (mainly because they’re e-commerce and not relevant to me) or I go on and pick apart some of the obviously flawed ones. It’s not a big deal to me, this is one of the few groups I like to veg on FB, I just don’t have the time to hang out in groups. If I had to get some of my posts approved when I find something and want to share or figure out something that I really can’t explain to family or friends I probably wouldn’t share it to the group. The fact that it’s relatively easy to post is why spur of the moment I share things. Even the posts that are obviously regurgitated content from something they learned in a course, a lot of them are well laid out and I could see being value to folks. For me at least I didn’t see it being a problem in the group it’s not really that bad. ‍♂️

@ader748 Thanksgart - #agree. I'm a high-level user and LOVE the ease to pop in here and throw a QQ into the group and get QA(quick answers). it helps 'raise my game'. #EaseOfUse

I actually agree with this as well. Thanks for jumping on this @absently4. I'm not sure the perfect solution, but those screenshot care studies have the potential to really lead some people astray or to lock them into a useless course. My bigger issue though, is it may discourage people with very valuable things to share because their numbers don't look as good as the one day, 90% off sale a dropshipper ran. But thanks for all you do with this group!

Would you share with me the strategy how to get awesome numbers with 90%-off sale campaign you refer to?

I shared a live stream a few weeks ago, just cause I was really impressed with my results and wanted a hi five after having some really rough days. I think only live streams and only by appointment prebooked in timeslot by admin. Easy Peasy
by (740 points)
Interesting. Yeah, this past Monday/Tuesday have been really rough days for me. I could use some 'hi-fives' too. LOL (FB algorithm is killin my cost/result this week. sigh)

Case studies and numbers verification and approved by the admins is the way to go.

This would be a great idea. Better quality approval is needed. These result type of posts are good when done right. So if the right case studies get published, this would be awesome to read up on
