If vertical is causing you problems, try to scale horizontally. Duplicate winning ad sets or campaigns and expand your audience targeting.

Whats your budget for the campaign? and how much are you trying to increase it? Budget vs audience size?

Same. What you spending per cbo on campaign? I only out mine up £3 a day and it kinda ruined it. So I duplicated the same adset a few times and that help regenerate
