For the ones who run ads for solar or any type of energy savings business. Do you think the CPL is more affected by the area or the ad creative and targeting?

I would think area. Why would a business go solar if they pay lower kWH per their zip code or they get govt subsidies for installing a diesel generator / 220v charging station in the parking lot (that no one uses). Your offer has to be lower than those subsidies including the Federal tax credit. If I was paying $. 09-. 10 cents a kWH, why go solar which could be . 17-25 kWH?

Area 100% I've run solar ads in 27 diff states and same copy, creative and targeting gets wildly diff CPL, where the only diff is geographic area

Area by far. FL leads for me are 6 bucks and CA is near 20 LOL
