Best answer
Most hardy geraniums. Look at 'Ann Thomson' and 'Azure Blue'. A little organic fertilizer as they come up, shear to the ground in June or July when they're looking a bit shaggy, water well and they'll at least give you more lovely leaves, if not flowers.

Hardy geraniums, nepeta, aster, crocosmia, aubretia, iris, grasses, alliums, daffodils & tulips, fuschias. depends on 3 things - the soil type, the aspect (which way it faces), and what you want to do in it.
