First time gardener!  So I bought a hydrangea thinking it's an outdoor plant looking on the instructions for looking after it, it says that it's an indoor plant.First time gardener! I purchased 2 'indoor' hydrangeas that were going cheap and planted them both out in pots. They both flower no problems and are out 365 days a year.

Keep it inside until risk of frost is over then it will be fine in the garden

Should be fine outside as a shrub

I’ve had mine outside for about 4 years and it’s been fine but always stayed small

Use ericaceous soil. I didn't and mine is dead

I grew mine from a cutting off my mums hydrangea. Protect it from frost so far so good. Enjoy I love how different soul ph changes the colour
