It's a bit unethical I know but beleive me snails reproduce so quickly you won't be contributing to their extinction. Just depends how squeemish you are and how much you love your plants. If I offend anyone I apologise. Don't like slugs much either.

Ceedarwood essential oil 15 drops in a spray bottle filled with water. spray everywhere. They stay away and safe on wildlife x

Pet friendly slug pellets are available - but sprinkle them well away from each plant - as they attract slugs - nab 'em before they get to your plants - good luck!

@unquestioning I actually rounded up about 30 of them, one wet evening, put them in a carrier bag, and chucked them in a local park bin lol, that worked really well. got rid of most of them, but my garden is only small, and paved over, so it was easy to do x

I've realised over the years that gardeners are fighting a loosing battle. I now only plant things that the horrible slimy little shits don't eat in the Borders and everything else in tubs then check every crevice in on or near my tubs twice daily. Tbh I think I am slowly losing the plot.

Extinction would be great lol . Hate them I have a huge problem here, dewy night or just after a rain go and hand pick them off I actually hear them munching on my dahlias. Pellets used to be effective but they don't seem to be these days. I can collect a large sandwich bag full in about ten minutes
