I think I might have made a booboo  So i got my berberis all planted, BUT i've only put them 60cm apart. Am I right in thinking I need to take them up and put 100cm apart (or more? )

Assuming you are making a hedge, they will be fine at that planting distance. The soil looks like it could do with a top dressing of some well rotted manure which will feed the plants and soil, and suppress the weeds.

I put a good layer of compost underneath and around, just put the normal soil back on top. I used feed stuff in the watering can, will that do? Im not able to get out to get anything else.

Thank you. Will they still flower and get berries even when so close together? Thats my main concern as the whole point in getting them was for wildlife (and to keep cats out! )

@deploy they aren't super-speedy growers, but you should have a decent hedge in 3 years. Yes they will flower and berry.
