Me for definite got 300£ of wood to finish my garden after waiting a month for delivery and now bloody cold and pouring with rain. And because I’ve just had 10t of soil delivered last week it’s just a see of soggy wet mud. Happy however my plants and grass at other side or getting natural water and all looking fantastic apart from cherry trees getting a blasting from rain drops.

Our gardens need a bit of rain. Grass was going brown. You can still go out. Put a coat on and your hood up. Bit of rain never harmed anyone.

The weather is the reason we have such beautiful gardens in the uk. It will be back to sunny in no time and everything will have the nutrients it needs from a good down pour. You will realise in a few days just how much things have grown. I use the rainy days to catch up on jobs inside, research how to prune spring flowering plants and how to care for the things I've planted etc along with decorating jobs and much needed house work. Everything is about balance xx

Hey. we need the water to keep the garden growing, also cleans down all the dust, and makes the soil more manageable. The Sun will be back, and your veggies and berries will grow. Better than having to water it all every night.

Feel cheated as my partner and I are Keyworkers needed to buy fence panels to repair chicken run as fox got in . But all cheap ones sold out. So had to buy expensive ones as can't leave it. They are coming Friday and we will have to put them up in the rain. That's cheated
by (1.4k points)
@jackelynjackeroo probably wasn’t sold out at all. retailer just wanted to flog the expensive stuff and know we’re all ‘Suckers’!
by (1.3k points)
@grievous it wasn't a question of being a 'sucker' no local fence yards open so had to use big DIY store and this was all I could get. I could not wait as I had explained above which I would have normally done as I need to make my pets safe. Everyone has been buying garden products that are not working we don't all have that luxury
