Like the rest of the UK, I seem to be drinking so much tea, are the tea leaves (from tea bags) good for growing anything in the garden ? Shame to waste if it is Thanks in advance x

If you put them in the compost take the leaves out of the bag, a lot of teabags contain plastic.

I think but not 100% sure that they help Rose's and clematis but as I said not totally sure . I'm new to gardening

Put them in your compost bin with vegetable peelings, grass cuttings etc.

My nan used to empty them all out round the base of her camilla. Grew big and strong every year.

Saved mine once in a bin, just kept chucking them in and when i looked it was just a big clump of mold due to there being milk in the bag haha. Open and chuck direct onto soil or dig them in

Some tea bags have plastic in so won't break down if swerve coasting because although the particles may be small it still is there. I use mine to deter cats but keep them In the bag and chuck around my flowers

Save them and put in a stocking put in water butts.
