@putandtake7095 i think businesses aren’t updating their online to deter non essential buying. There was loads delivered in roll cages yesterday and this morning I picked up a lazy spa from b&q, they had 3 in stock but they said out of stock online x

I have 10ltrs unopened. Bought the wrong thing and Wilkos won’t let me exchange it or get my money back because I don’t have a receipt. They ask do you want one then say you can’t return it, if they don’t want to hand over a receipt they should ask for an email address

This is what we are currently doing. Two coats should do it.  we can't decide if we should paint the decking or not. Advice please.

@macgregor38642 I'd paint tge decking the samw
by (870 points)
I'd leave the decking, just put a clear oil on it, we have some borders made out of decking, we painted them grey last may, this year they look awful, paint has come off and made it look really tatty compared to the natural coloured decking that runs along side it. I can take a pic if you want to see the difference.

Thanks. I thought it would be best not to paint it the same.

Someone asked what colour we used can't find the post now . it's protek gunmetal grey. We first stained the fences this colour 4 years ago and Grey's like this just didn't exist in b and q etc then. so I had to search and we've just stuck with it as we buy it in 25 litre big drums X the building is different it's sadolin opaque superdec I ordered in ral colours . anthracite to match our house windows but matches the fence stain perfect

We used Ronseal Urban Slate decking paint. It's really good. Don't buy the Screwfix own decking stain, it just washes off. We had to paint our new deck 3 times last year cos it washed off. The lighter grey is masonary paint.
