Preparing garden for decking to be done can anyone recommend what do do with brick wall colour scheme is grey was thinking of painting but not sure?

Going against the grain I like red brick with natural wood, I'd just oil the decking and add greenery. If you do paint though I'd go for a cream, white is blinding in the sun

Just a couple of examples off the internet.

That white stuff on wall is efflorescence salts coming out of the brickwork caused by damp, If you paint the wall, paint will bubble off in these places.

If it's a retaining wall, which i looks like, you cant without practically rebuilding
