I need help choosing what colours to paint my fence/shed and decking please - I was thinking maybe grey but didn’t know whether to go for the same colour for both? Everything needs a lick of paint so thought I’d change colour while I did! Also any cheap ideas how to improve the space would be appreciated!

Actually the tree is tied to the garden as it has a habit of leafing

@midrib9534 you need to go to spec savers. Its a clothes prob and doesn't even look like its attached to the dog anyway

@midrib9534 it’s a clothes prop as everyone has said, Jacko enjoys pelting round the garden whenever he can so definitely not tied to the tree

I would split colors depending what colour your house is . maybe panels grey and along the bottom and posts white . or a color matching the trim to your house to tie it in.

Use a big car sponge to paint with, it takes half the time and half the effort.

Maybe a dark grey for the decking and fence and a different colour for the shed? Some cheap ideas for adding colour and interest: remove a patch of grass and add wild flower seeds. Attach trellis and grow a few climbers - perennials like honeysuckle or clematis or annuals like morning glory. Add some hanging pots to the fence and plant nasturtiums seeds, dig some borders and add perennials whilst they're small - cheaper at the start of the season. Add pots to the decking and grow herbs or flowers.
