So I’ve jet washed the floor, anyone know how I can get those last stains up? I’ve tried a patio cleaner. I’m renting so didn’t want to do too much but it does annoy me. Thanks xx Edit: I have pets, so if I did use bleach I would be rinsing well after. I also don’t want to paint it or lay grass on it, I really like the stones. ❤️ Thanks for all your helpful advice.

All these people commenting to use bleach, wont that have a bad effect on the local watercourses? You may not have any plants etc that could be affected but further down the line somethings going to swallow bleach ?

Sodium hyperchlorite which is also known as swimming pool bleach as its around 14% in strength. Used by pro cleaners on patio flagstones. Apply 50/50 solution with water, leave for up to 30 mins and rinse in clean water. Will likely do it in one go. Repeat or increase strength for very deep staining or lichen and black spot marks. Repeat every year as maintenance . Cost around £1 per litre but usually comes in 5-25 litre containers for cost efficiency. Your patio looks like a 5 litre size will be fine.

I done mine the other week. What I did was try to power wash the dirt into one side. (Do it on a hot day) then wait for it to dry so it’s easier to brush up. Then get a shovel and brush and scoop it.

Doesn't matter if u are renting nothing wrong with doing it up for your own benefit why your living there and besides it's your second home so has to look good for u. do not use beach if u have animals please no even if watered down the pneumonia in the bleach with get to there system and make them poorly so please no bleach. Try getting the jet wash right up to it and put a tub of bycarbinate baking soda down get an old sweeping brush and give it a good scrub with brush (jobs a good en) bycarb is the best for absolutely anything and works amazing on dirt. ✅ xxx
