Hey me an my hubby have just brought our first home and when they laid the grass it is so bumpy and not levelled at all and now it’s getting dark patches on it can anyone give me any advice on how to make it better without digging it up?

Hey me an my hubby have just brought our first home and when they laid the grass it is so bumpy and not levelled at all and now it’s getting dark patches on it can anyone give me any advice on how to make it better without digging it up? We’ve tried seeding it even but it’s not made much improvement. Many thanks.

Best answer
They should have levelled the soil first but that is not the cause of the dark patches. Buy some fertiliser and apply will take some time but you should see a massive improvement
