So I’ve ordered a fountain off eBay as wanted to use in the top of a milk churn. But when it’s at its most powerful the water doesn’t go back in the tub. Any ideas of something I could put inside the tub to kind of make something to catch the water to get back into the pot that won’t look stupid? Once complete the wire will be hidden and covered with slate thanks

Large clear glass or perspex bowl. like mixing bowl with bottom cut out.

I put my solar fountain in my bird bath, it kept moving around and spraying the water over the sides, mine had little suckers on the bottom, I got a tea plate, turned it upside down and stuck the fountain to it, placed it in the middle now it doesn't move

Personally would have gone for one without the lead think it spoils the look but turn something upside down and Weight it to it maybe a few pebbles if it is still blowing too much take off the nozzle

@acrogen the lead won’t be on show when I have done as it will be down the back of the churn. It’s not that it’s blowing as such the spread of the water on all of the nozzles are too wide.

@milky on one we don’t have any nozzle so it just flows it on the other I have turned upside down a plant pot and with the help of a few stones weighted it on top it does loose some water but not much and I have the sprinkler bit on it just does also depend on the size of what it’s in really

@acrogen ill have a play without the nozzles on or maybe drill some of the nozzles see how that goes
